The shop needs walls.
There's a lot I'd like to do if I could afford the time to get them going. Help me take a day off to work on:
The Spite Rack - A minimalist 4"x8" front rack. Estimated 275g
The Wyrm Rack - A Front / Rear compatible cargo rack. Cargo leg + Pannier versions. Estimated 650g
Rack Fatigue Testing Rigs - Putting empirical data behind all RatKing products to give definitive and safety driven weight limits and better understand failure modes.
Walls / workbench - Im tired of cleaning the rat / bat droppings off my tables.
Knucklehead Frames - RatKing's next production frame. Small batch builds made in the Puget Sound. The most succinct bike packing frameset bundle you could want. Non suspension corrected steel jammer.

Building and designing for small-mid size production is one of the most satisfying and challenging parts of RatKing. Each new design requires new fixturing, tooling, processes, and testing. Lots of materials lost, hours spent, and projects abandoned along the way. It is a tremendous amount of speculative effort, and unfortunately for me, is maybe one of the most rewarding parts of the business.
Over the years the RIP Rack alone has seen over 4 official versions and half a dozen more that never made the cut. I believe RatKing makes some of the best racks and cradles out there. And I’ve got a lot more I want to build.
Each new design takes a minimum of $3,000 and 200+ hours before the first real production run even begins. Please consider throwing down to help me keep iterating and innovating.
Thank you for your consideration!
