Heat treat increases yield strength and fatigue life. These bars can take bigger beating before permanent deformation and can withstand more stress cycles than normalized 4130 for an extended lifespan.
They maintain the comfortable ride feel of steel but they will hold up to gnarlier crashes before deforming. Hammer out of the saddle and huck to flat with confidence.
*These bars are cold blackend then oiled, + waxed straight over the raw finish straight out of the furnace. The finish is dark grey, blotchy, and one of a kind. These bars will patina over time and will require periodic upkeep to keep rust at bay.
